Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EduLeader AI, LLC (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use yourxsong (the “Service”).

1. What we collect

We collect:

  • Account information. Your email address (for sign-in via magic link).
  • Song inputs. The photo of the handwritten note you upload, plus the target name and vibe (genre) you select.
  • Generated songs. The lyrics, audio, and cover art produced from your inputs.
  • Payment information. If you make a purchase, Stripe processes your card. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage information. Basic logs (IP address, request timestamps, error events) for security and debugging.
  • Device identifiers on the iOS app for free-tier rate limiting.

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

  • Operate the Service (generate your songs, deliver them to your library).
  • Authenticate you when you sign in.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Improve reliability and product quality.
  • Respond to support requests.

We do not use your handwritten notes or generated songs to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Sub-processors

To run the Service we share data with:

  • Supabase — database and auth hosting.
  • Stripe — payments.
  • Netlify — website hosting.
  • OpenAI — AI text generation (lyrics; OCR of your note).
  • Suno (via GoAPI / PiAPI) — AI music audio generation.
  • Resend (or similar) — transactional email for sign-in links.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

4. Storage and retention

Generated songs are stored in your library so you can replay and share them. Photos of your handwritten notes are stored temporarily (up to 30 days) and then purged unless you choose to keep them. You can delete any song or your entire account from your Account page; on account deletion we remove your songs and personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records (e.g., billing for tax purposes).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and very basic, privacy-friendly analytics. We do not run ad-tracking or fingerprinting.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please email support@yourxsong.com and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@yourxsong.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we have, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of the “sale” of personal information (we don't sell personal information).

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, encrypted storage at rest, and we minimize the people on our team with access to production data. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
