Refund Policy
Effective May 6, 2026
We want you to enjoy yourxsong. If something is wrong, we want to fix it.
One-Off Song purchases ($1.99)
Because each one-off purchase grants an immediately-usable song credit (a digital good that is consumed when you generate the song), once a song is generated, the purchase is non-refundable.
If you bought a one-off credit but have not yet used it and you change your mind within 14 days of purchase, email us and we'll refund it.
If your generated song fails to deliver due to a technical problem on our end, we will either re-credit your account or refund you — your choice. Email us with your purchase confirmation.
Subscriptions (Semi Pro / Pro)
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access through that period and will not be charged again.
New subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchaseif no songs have been generated under that subscription.
Subsequent monthly renewals are not refundable once charged. Unused monthly songs do not roll over.
Apple In-App Purchases (iOS)
Refund requests for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request an Apple-side refund.
Chargebacks
If you have an issue, please reach out to us first — chargebacks cost both of us time and money. We aim to respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
How to request a refund
Email support@yourxsong.com with:
- The email address on your account,
- Approximate date of purchase,
- Last 4 digits of the card used (if any), and
- A short note about what went wrong.
We'll get back to you within 2 business days.
